All aboard the fitness bandwagon

I love myself, but I’d love myself more if I could run a 5k in 15 minutes. Believe me, I wish it was a whim, but the heart wants what it wants. And what am I if not a in-the-moment kinda girl. So when @ariellesays posted #TheGoal30 challenge on Instagram — oh! How I thank the Lord for its invention — I naturally jumped the gun and decided to participate.

It’s just been 4 days since the challenge started on August 15, and I’m already sort of feeling meh! What? If you’ve ever ATTEMPTED to run in your life, you’ll know that fitness is a tough task and a 5k is even tougher. But the heart wants what it wants, because the heart is also hoping to shed a few pounds by the end of this challenge and emerge looking fabulous, more than it already is.

Also, “Fabulous” ends in “us”. Coincidence? I think not! That’s me subtly hinting that you should join the journey too.
